Matt Boman’s gonzo directorial debut, BLURRING MAN, follows Elmer, a Salvadoran day laborer who survives the Sonoran Desert only to land at Burning Man, a surreal playground of millionaires, misfits, and excess.
As Elmer navigates the absurd contradictions of the American Dream, the film itself becomes a target. Corporate lawyers, censorship threats, and shadowy immigration agents turn an outrageous adventure into a battle over freedom, privilege, and who gets to tell the story.
In a country where freedom is supposedly for everyone, BLURRING MAN asks one simple question: Who can actually afford it?
